This is one of those Andrew Grey flings that puts a smile on your face while it also gives you a bit to be miffed about. In this case the miff comes mostly from Clay's nasty tempered father who lures him back from Chicago, where he's just lost his job, to the family farm at precisely the propitious time for Clay to consider changing his life. Once again.That would be because almost immediately after arriving back in the small town where he grew up Clay runs into his teenage crush Dell, who is still as lust worthy as he was in high school but now is a young, divorced daddy with the most precocious 4-year-old boy in the area, a kid named Archie.Oh what a tale these people weave. But it's sweet and kind and even though there are issues along the way, Clay and Dell and Archie and Dad--assisted by a visit from Alan, Clay's best friend from Chicago, who provides a needed hoot or two along the way--work things out the way Andrew Grey would like them to be worked out.And, after all, he is the author and one of the best in this genre.
